I fully understand that I must receive a permit from Treasurer’s Office/Streets Department in addition to an email from parkingday@stltreasurer.org approving my parking space design to participate in Park(ing) Day STL.

We will provide a standard bike rack for the street facing side of your parklet, this will serve as a barrier for street safety. Those interested in Trailnet’s Traffic Calming Lending Library are
welcome to reach out to planning@trailnet.org regarding resources available for community use. All other parklet materials will be from your personal inventory!

- Park(ing) DAY STL 2026 Rules:

• Park(ing) Day STL parklet spots are restricted only to locations with no peak hour parking restrictions. (For example, meters or streets designated as no parking between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.)

• The sides of a parklet spot facing must include an enclosure to keep pedestrians from walking out into the traffic. This can include lining the edge with plants or straw bales, building a small fence, or incorporating a design element of the park as a barricade.

• Parklet spot can be set up the morning of September 18th no later than 9:30 am and must be removed and the site cleaned by 8:00 pm the same day. Set up is not allowed the day before (i.e. on 09/17).

• Parklet spots must be staffed and monitored for the entire time of set up.

• Acquiring all materials and installing and removing them from the park site are the responsibility of the sponsoring individual or group.

• Your parklet spot may not contain or promote, profanity, mind altering substances, or incite violence.

I agree to follow the above rules for participating in PARK(ing) Day STL on Friday, September 18th, 2026. I, or my group, will set up our pop-up park, occupy the park during the entire time the park is set up, breakdown, and clean up the site at the end of the day. I take full responsibility for my pop-up park and will not hold liability for any organizing party for activities or events that take place in the pop-up park.
