Welcome to the College Kids Savings Account Program. We are excited for you to sign-up your child for a
savings account to help save for their college education. After you complete this enrollment form, your
eligibility will be verified by the College Kids Program Manager. Once your eligibility is verified, you will
receive an email notification regarding next steps to opening and activating your student’s account. The St.
Louis Treasurer’s Office is the custodial owner of the account however, this account will be in your child’s
name held with Alltru Federal Credit Union. For College Kids and Alltru Credit Union to set up and deposit
funds into your account, they must have your consent to share your student information. This information
will only be shared between College Kids and Alltru Federal Credit Union as outlined in this consent form.
After your account is opened, College kids will deposit $50 into your child’s savings account to help
jumpstart saving for their college education. Throughout the school year, your student will have the
opportunity to earn bonus deposits for attendance, participation in financial education and matched
savings. Students also will participate in activities such as Storytime with the Treasurer, Family Savings
Night, Deposit Day, Virtual Game Shows, Student Spotlights and much more.
