Mardi Gras Soulard Lot Application

February 9th - February 19, 2026

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Please fill out the application to rent Soulard Lot for Mardi Gras Grand Parade 2026 on Feb 14, 2026. Please provide detailed responses.
  • All applications MUST be submitted by 5pm on Monday September 1st, 2025.
  • Please submit any questions to stltreasurer@stltreasurer.org by August 15, 2025. Responses answered by Friday August 22nd, 2025.
  • Event Organizer/ Promoter

               Name, address, city/state/zip code, email address and phone number

  • Dates for usage of Soulard Lot are as follows:

Rental shall commence on Monday February 9, 2026, at 6am and ends on Thursday February 19, 2026, at 5pm. Lot must be returned to its original condition by the effective rental end date.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Layout/Safety Plan must include

Layout Plan must include: Event layout, Tent vendor information indicating size oftent(s) and anchoring requirements, liquor vendor information, approximate attendance, entertainment details, trash disposal plan, set up and break down details.

Security Plan must include:

Security vendor information, security plan, emergency egress and ingress plans, emergency response details.

  • The applicant is responsible for obtaining all required City and State permits and licenses to operate this event, including but not limited to tent permits, excise permits, food/health permits, generator permits etc.
  • The applicant must comply with all Mardi Gras Inc. regulations

Fees

Rent

Total rent is $15,000 (Fifteen Thousand) payable in full by December 19, 2025 by 5pm and is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Repair and Maintenance Deposit

Total repair and maintenance deposit is $12,000 (Twelve Thousand) and is payable in full by December 19, 2025, by 5pm*. Lot must be restored to its original condition by the effective February 19, 2026. The applicant is responsible for any damage including but not limited to areas where tent(s) stakes have been driven through pavement.

Insurance

The applicant must provide General Liability insurance covering personal and contractual, broad from liability, property damage and medical expenses in a combined single limit of at least $ 4,000,000.

*** Refundable if lot is restored to pre-event condition.***
